Deepika Padukone participates in Shahrukh Khan to shoot ‘Happy New Year’

When Deepika Padukone was enjoying her vacation with her family in Europe, Shahrukh Khan was busy with the post-release propagandize of Chennai Express in India. On 1st September, he arrived in Dubai after a month-long endless promotion for the film.

Currently, after finished long holiday, Deepika has also participated in Shahrukh and the other cast members Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood and Boman Irani, who all have been shooting for the film since 1st September.

Buzz is strong that Deepika has also been photographed having animated conversations with Shahrukh, trying to catch up with the latest Bollywood gossip from the star. “Dippy sat SRK down and threw a volley of enquiries at him about the fate of their last film together and buzz from the filmi parties,” a source reported.

It’s no doubt that she has a lot to know because the actress was not in India to see and celebrate the roaring success of Chennai Express. The actress had left for Spain soon after the release of the film. Interestingly, when she holidayed in Ibiza, her ex-beau Ranbir Kapoor and his alleged girlfriend Katrina Kaif were spotted a few weeks back.

Deepika Padukone begans to shoot for director Farah Khan’s Happy New Year from yesterday. Her schedule is already fixed, and according to reports, she is going to fly down to Goa straight from Dubai for her next project with her Cocktail director Homi Adajania.

Varun Dhawan urges fans not to smoke

Actor Varun Dhawan might be just one film old, but he knows the influence a movie character can have on fans. Therefore, he has warned his fans not to learn him when he smokes on screen.

“Hey guys for the record I don’t smoke, but I might have to smoke for some upcoming role but everyone knows smoking is bad so don’t do it,” Varun, who was seen smoking in his debut film Student Of The Year in 2012, posted on Twitter.

“As an actor if you play a character it doesn’t mean that I am that person. I know there are a lot of young people here so be healthy no smoking,” he added.
Neverthless, the actor confirms that it is not a good way to judge people because of their smoking habits.

“And for the rest of the grown-ups, behave (in a ) mature (way). You guys know this is not reality. Also people who smoke are not bad human beings,” he said on the micro-blogging site.


Main Tera Hero, Varun Dhwawn’s upcoming romantic comedy film, which is directed by David Dhawan, is set to release on April 4, 2014. It is a remake of the 2011 Telugu blockbuster Kandireega.

In addition, two other filmmakers, Sriram Raghavan and Mohit Suri has also roped in the actor for an untitled project.

Parineeti Chopra doesn’t wear a bikini

Most of actresses are always ready to flaunt a bikini on the big screen but Parineeti Chopra is an exception.

When asked whether she will wear a bikini for a film, she answered: “If I have a hot body, then why not? But right now I don’t have the right body. I am still overweight, so there’s no way I can wear a bikini.”

In fact, the vivacious actress has not any limitations and restrictions as an artist.

“I don’t want to restrict myself. I don’t know how long will I act, or may be the audience will get bored of me and then I will not be acting… so (as long as I am in showbiz), I don’t want to restrict myself,” the 24 years old actress said.


Parineeti Chopra confirms that plenty of actresses justify bold scenes by explaining”it’s the demand of the script”. But she says it is actually so.

“In ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’, Sushant (Singh Rajput) has to be physically close with (characters played by) Vaani Kapoor and me for the conflict to happen. If a director says that let’s put some kissing scenes for publicity, I will never do that. It’s ridiculus,” she added.

Currently, Parineeti is busy with the promotions of her new film Shuddh Desi Romance, which is directed by Maneesh Sharm and is set to be released on September 6, 2013.. She gaurantees that the movie is “entertaining”.

Ranbir Kapoor intends to propose to Katrina Kaif?

According to reports pouring in, Ranbir Kapoor is intending to propose marriage to his ladylove Katrina Kaif on 28 September, which is his 31 years old birthday. Some media reveal that Kapoor is serious about Katrina Kaif, and has shared with his intimate friends that he has ultimately found someone that he is worth commiting his life.

“A lot of hearts are set to break on Ranbir’s birthday. But looks like the man has made up his mind,”a tabloid divulged.

Recently, the lovebirds are trying to spend as much time with each other despite of their hectic schedules. Subsequently after their holiday in Spain, Katrina was spotted accompanying Ranbir to Sri Lanka, where he went shooting for Bombay Velvet. Simultaneously, Ranbir’s mom Neetu Singh likes Katrina. She believes that once Kat gets engaged to Ranbir, the tongues will stop wagging, claim sources.

Obviously, Ranbir’s parents want their son to finally take a call, especially after the photos of his privy beach holiday with Kat went viral on the web. Both Rishi and Neetu were least pleased with the incident.

Ankita professes her love for boyfriend Sushant

On the sets of “DID Super Moms” , actress Ankita Lokhande surprised beau actor Sushant Singh Rajput, by professed her love for him.

Sushant, who gained international recognization by daily soap “Pavitra Rishta”, got emotional when he saw the video, with bytes from the cast of the show, including that from Ankita.

The actor was overjoyed because he did not expect a confession of love from his long term girlfriend Ankita, which said: “I am proud to be your girlfriend and the kind of chemistry I share with you. I can’t have that with anyone else.”
Sushant almost had tears in his eyes and was too flattered to say anything.

Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Kapoor, Sushant’s co-actors of “Shuddh Desi Romance”, were also present on the show and had a gala time with the Super Moms.
Parineeti didn’t hesitate to sing the title track of “Shuddh Desi Romance” with the contestants.Meanwhile, Sushant and Vaani were enthusiastic enough to dance with the song.

Model Yasmeen Khan may participate in ‘Bigg Boss 7′

It is reported by a tabloid that Indo-American model Yasmeen Khan, who is Salman Khan’s friend, may participate in Bigg Boss 7. Currently, a TV Channel ran a news report on the probable contestants of Bigg Boss 7 and Yasmeen’s name featured in it.

Bigg Boss 7 is scheduled to open for the audience on 15 September, 2013. However, the final list of the participants hasn’t been released.

The buzz said that Yasmeen Khan used to shuttle between New York, Mumbai and Delhi for modeling assignments, and now she has shifted base to Mumbai with family. Priyanka Chopra prepares for Deepika Padukone’s ‘Ram Leela’

According to reports pouring in, actress Priyanka Chopra can’t get enough of dancing after she finished two special tracks in Zanjeer. Even if her item tracks had fewer takers, the makers of Ram Leela roped in the actress for the song, which is going to be shot in a lavish set-up.

It is said that the song will be choreographed by Prabhu Deva’s talented brother Vishnu Deva, and the shooting is scheduled to begin yesterday at Film City studios. A lavish and expensive set has been designed for the song and will feature 20 other female performers.

Because Ram Leela is based on Gujarati culture, and is set in Kutch, Priyanka will sport ethnic wear for the song, which may remind the audiences of Aishwarya Rai’s Nimbuda from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. The song will contain traditional elements and dance styles of Gujarat.

At the beginning, a gossip said that Aishwarya Rai was closed to the song in Ram Leela. Obviously, it is sheer fiction. At the launch of Lodha Group’s new project ‘The Park’, when Aishwarya was asked why the senior actresses are being offered just item numbers and not full-fledged roles in films, the actress apparently snapped at the reporter.

She said, “I am an actor, don’t ask me these things, I am not the one making these (item song) offers. These are not the questions that can be directed at an actor.”
