TV actress Delnaaz Irani, who was 40 years oldyesterday, celebrated her birthday, along with the cast and crew of TV show “Kehta Hai Dil…Jee Le Zara” on the sets in Mumbai.
Delnaaz was pleasantly shocked by the plans. She couldn’t help but expects to celebrate many more birthdays on the sets of the show, which continued to air on Sony Entertainment Television currently.
“It’s very special, I am so surprised and also embarrassed. I didn’t know. I had just asked for a holiday but didn’t tell anything. I don’t know how it got out and I am really touched with the celebration. Thank you…whoever did this,” said Delnaaz.
“I just hope we all celebrate a lot of birthdays on this set and the serial should do really well,” the actress added.
Delnaaz’s birthday arrangements contains a small puja at home and lunch and dinner with her family.
“I think the best gift is the love of your friends and family, what else do you want? There is just a small puja at home and family lunch and dinner. I have a huge family and a lot of times we avoid our extended family. But this time we’ll celebrate with all of them,” Delnaaz said.
Sangeeta Ghosh and Ruslaan Mumtaaz features in the show, while Delnaaz performs Sangeeta’s neighbour Dilshad.
